Kent and Sheila White (Sarah's parents) asked us to travel with them to Alaska. Their son Eric lives in Anchorage and they wanted to see him as well as enjoy time seeing Alaska. After many times talking about it, a date was set for July 13, 2022, for departure. Sheila and Janie spent many an hour on the web searching out places to stay including rustic cabins with an outhouse and no showers. We all opted for a little more normal housing options and settled on four locations. Many emails back and forth with ideas of what to do and a high-level itinerary developed. Fly into Anchorage and spend the first week, then move south for a few days and then north to the Denali area for the remainder ending with a night in Anchorage before flying out on June 27th.
